Body Wisdom – A Women’s Health and Wellbeing Day
29th Sep 2019 @ 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
This day is for any woman who wishes to learn more about her own body and how to support its natural wisdom. We welcome women at all stages of life to join us, it is never too early or too late to learn and to practice.
Together, we will create a safe and nurturing women’s circle where you can learn from teachers with a great depth of experience. We also all learn from the richness of one another’s life experiences.
The day will include:
- The anatomy and sex education you didn’t learn at school
- Practices from both ancient Tantric and Daoist teachings alongside the best of modern physiotherapy to support;
- you developing a positive relationship where you can both feel and listen to the wisdom of your body
- your lifelong health and well being
- increased sexual and erotic pleasure.
Unravelling the mysteries of our pelvic floor.
The pelvic floor muscles are the base of the bowl formed by the pelvic girdle. As such they are integral in holding energy within the pelvis. Too weak and the energy drains away… too tense and there can be pain and restriction. They need both to be strong, and able to relax completely, to create a healthy balance. As part of this workshop we will guide you, with breath, and education, to identify and improve your awareness of these muscles. This has so many benefits, both for controlling bladder and bowels, and for improved sexual energy, the fire that can light up your entire being.
Your teachers are
After 14 years of participating, assisting and teaching with Shakti Tantra, Becky brings a rich experience and wisdom into her teaching. She knows just how powerful and transformative it can be to really acknowledge the pleasure and beauty in our bodies. With a compassionate open heart she guides people in learning to connect with and listen to the wisdom of their body. Becky knows this work is not just about “having a better sex life” it’s about being unashamed to fully express ourselves so we can celebrate the real pleasure of simply being alive.
